Designer Handmade Tip
Within 15-Minute Rule

" When casting resin, it is recommended to set a timer the moment you start mixing. In general, you have about 15 minutes of working time from mixing to pouring. After that, the resin begins to gradually increase in viscosity and harden, making it difficult to flow into fine details. The first 3 minutes should be used for thorough mixing and pigment blending, the middle phase should focus on removing bubbles, and the final minutes should be dedicated to pouring.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Worry Bear durable enough for daily handling?

Yes. The high-gloss protective topcoat applied in the final step is specifically there to handle frequent touching, pocket carrying, and the occasional drop onto a desk. The resin core underneath is solid, not hollow, which is part of why it has a reassuring weight in the hand.

Will the glitter or color fade over time?

No, glitter and pigment are sealed inside the resin itself during the pour, not painted on afterward, so normal handling won't wear them away. Like most resin pieces, keeping it out of direct, prolonged sunlight will help the color stay true for the longest possible time.

Does each Worry Bear look slightly different?

It's genuinely handmade. Glitter distribution shifts slightly with every pour, and the hand-sanding stage means no two surfaces catch the light in exactly the same way. The bear you receive will be similar to our photos in shape and color, but unmistakably its own piece.
